New 1332 Ownership!

It’s official, 1332 Records has been purchased today by Levi Poppke and Byl Kravetz.  All deals set by me for 1332 (including shows, upcoming releases, etc.) are contractually bound for the new owners to follow through with.  It’s been fun starting and running my own record label but it’s time for some new blood to take it to the next level.  Thank you everyone for your support, it’s much appreciated.  In the future, all 1332 matters are taken care of by the new owners.  No major changes are in store yet but the label is looking to expand greatly.

1332 Battle of the Bands starts this week.

Come down and pay the low price of just $2 to get in the Punk Monday all month long in January and vote for the band you’d like to see 1332 Records release a CD for this year.  Every Monday night 3 bands will compete for the chance to play in the finals on March 3.  Each Monday night, while the votes are being tallied, a 1332 band or spaecial guest out of town band will play a short set as well.  The first band starts at 9pm every week so get there early so you don’t miss any of the bands and you can decide for yourself who should have their CD released by 1332.

Enzugiri out now!!

The debut EP/CD from Enzugiri was officially released on December 18th.  Go to the 1332 store and order it, order it from the Enzugiri Myspace page or wait a couple more weeks and you’ll be able to download it from iTunes, Napster or many other download sites.  Either way, it’s well worth the low price.

Last 2007 Punk Monday/ Enzugiri news

The last Punk Monday of 2007 is this Monday, December 17th.  Inaddition to it being the last one of the year, Enzugiri will be releasing their debut EP/CD one night early at this show.  Right now the CD is available in the 1332 Records online store for pre-order and it will be available at The Record Exchange in Boise on Tuesday, December 8th.  Enzugiri opens for Strings and Chemicals and Upinatem for the last Punk Monday of the year so be there early and don’t miss a couple of bands everyone is talking about along with long time favorites, Upinatem.

Enzugiri’s debut CD out December 18

1332 Records will be releasing Enzugiri’s debut CD, “Project 3- Background: Black,” on December 18.  Prepare for one of the best hardcore, punk, metal hybrid CD’s you’ve ever heard when this EP/CD is released.  The band will play with Upinatem and Strings and Chemicals on December 17th.  Anyone attending will be able to pick up the CD then at a special low price.

1332 to release new Heibarger CD

1332 Records and Hebarger have reached an agreement for the release of Heibarger’s follow up to “Desert Death,” as yet untitled.  The CD is scheduled for an early 2008 release.  We’ll be updating on the release as time gets closer to reaching an official release date.
